We have been blessed this summer thus far. The weather has been good--sunshine and rain when needed.  So many places in our country are suffering with wild fires, drought, flooding, tornados, hail storms, and/or thunder and electrical storms.  God is good.

I've been personally blessed with visitations from family and friends.  Too many people who live in the same town do not take time to visit friends and /or relatives.  Please make and keep your connections with others, for it is very important!!.

On July 28, 2008, The Daily Word discussed the use of GPS-global positioning guide, which provides information quickly and efficiently as one drives through unfamiliar territory. The article further noted that we have been created with an inner GSP--God's Powerful Spirit--which safely guides us through the twists and turns of life.  It keeps us on the right path.  It is true, unfailing, giving us an opportunity to express the wisdom of the spirit in all we do.  This GSP cannot be stolen!!!!

Let us continue to use God's Powerful Spirit here at St Augustine's as we move ahead.  We all get frustrated, but we have been brought this far by God and we must not lose faith. Finger pointing, blame placing-always on others not one’s self, sitting down on the job, or doing nothing is not acceptable to God.  Our Lord Jesus Christ needs each one of us to work in his vineyard for the work plentiful and his Powerful Spirit will guide and direct us.
